Dois livros (com ISBN) serão publicados no âmbito do Congresso Internacional sobre Património Arquitetónico e Paisagístico | Malagueira (CIPA | M).

As contribuições aceites de autores registados são convidadas a submeter um abstract para publicação num livro de abstracts.

Serão selecionadas contribuições para serem incluídas num livro de artigos completos.

Serão considerados apenas os manuscritos cujo autor esteja registado.

Os manuscritos devem ser artigos de investigação e apresentar obra original, não publicada relacionada com o tema da conferência.

Regras para os Resumos:

O Resumo deve ser limitado a 400 palavras.

Podem ser incluídas imagens. Imagens com legenda devem estar contidas numa página 21x21cm com margens - 2cm de margem interior e 1cm nas restantes- com o mínimo de 300 dpi (recomendamos 600 dpi).

Apenas serão incluídos no livro os Resumos cujo autor seja inscrito e tenha realizado o pagamento até 10 de setembro.

Regras para os Artigos:

O projeto de investigação MALAGUEIRA – PATRIMÓNIO DE TODOS: subsídios para a sua classificação (PTDC/ART-DAQ/32111/2017), financiado por fundos nacionais através da Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P. (FCT) afiliado ao CHAIA, Universidade de Évora [UI&D: CHAIA/UÉ –UID/EAT/00112/2013 – FCT], tem o prazer de o convidar à elaboração de um capítulo/ artigo para incluir em livro científico que será publicado até ao final do ano de 2022.

Procuram-se artigos que abordem temas de investigação relativos ao Património Arquitetónico e Paisagístico do século XX, com especial incidência para os temas que estruturam o CIPA | M, Congresso Internacional sobre Património Arquitetónico e Paisagístico | Malagueira, (a relação entre o património cultural e a comunidade, e a gestão do património e participação pública na sua patrimonialização e gestão) e ainda para as seguintes áreas temáticas:

Tema 1

Investigação em projeto e sua aplicação aos estudos dos processos e operações de conceção na arquitetura e urbanismo do séc. XX, visando a identificação de valores de autenticidade, integridade e singularidade das obras e dos seus autores, com especial incidência no Arquiteto Álvaro Siza Vieira.

Tema 2

Investigações sobre a identificação, proteção e salvaguarda do património cultural, visando o património arquitetónico e paisagístico e a criação de acervos e de cartas de interpretação e preservação do património.

Tema 3

Exemplos e experiências de criação de marcas de turismo cultural, com especial incidência nos valores arquitetónicos, sociais e da história moderna e sua sustentabilidade económica.

Prazos e Comunicação:

Por motivos de programação financeira e publicação, todos os interessados terão de manifestar a sua vontade de publicar o capítulo até ao dia 30 de setembro.

O prazo final para o envio dos artigos está previsto para dia 31 de outubro.

Caberá à Comissão Editorial, com o apoio da equipa científica do projeto, realizar a revisão dos artigos e enviar aos autores as sugestões que considera adequadas.

Está prevista a publicação do livro no final do ano 2022.

Toda a comunicação será realizada através de correio electrónico (cipa.malagueira@uevora.pt) dirigida aos coordenadores do Projecto MALAGUEIRA.PT.

Formato e dimensões:

O título e subtítulo do artigo deve ser em inglês. O resumo (máximo 200 palavras) e as palavras-chave (entre 4 e 6) devem estar em inglês e português.

O texto deverá ser escrito em inglês e ter entre 2000 e 3000 palavras (cerca de 6 a 8 páginas), sem contar com o título, resumo, palavras-chave, notas e bibliografia.

Observações:

Os artigos podem resultar da apresentação oral no CIPA | M (Congresso Internacional sobre Património Arquitetónico e Paisagístico | Malagueira) ou noutros congressos, desde que os seus temas estejam enquadrados no solicitado e ainda não tenham sido publicados.

A política e requisitos para publicação devem ser respeitados. Todos os manuscritos irão seguir um processo de revisão por pares e as contribuições devem seguir as regras impostas pelos autores do livro.

Two books (with ISBN) will be published within the International Congress on Architecture and Landscape Heritage | Malagueira (CIPA | M).

Accepted contributions of Registered authors are invited to submit the abstract for publication in a book of abstracts.

Selected contributions will be included in a book with the complete papers.

Only one manuscript by a registered participant will be considered.

Manuscripts need to be full research papers and present original, unpublished work focussing on the topics of the conference.

Abstract Guidelines:

The abstracts should be limited to 400 words. Images can be included. Images with caption and source must be contained on a page with 21x21 and margins - 2cm Inside and 1cm remaining margins-, with a minimum of 300 dpi (we recommend 600 dpi).

Only abstracts of registered participants that have performed the payment of the fee until the 10th of September will be included in the book of abstracts.

Paper Guidelines:

The research project MALAGUEIRA – HERITAGE OF ALL: grants for its classification (PTDC/ARTDAQ/32111/2017), funded by national funds through the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. (FCT) affiliated to CHAIA, University of Évora [UI&D: CHAIA/UÉ –UID/EAT/00112/2013 – FCT], is pleased to invite you to elaborate a chapter/paper to include in a scientific book which will be published by the end of the year of 2022.

We are looking for articles that address research topics related to the Architectural and Landscape heritage from the 20th century, with special focus on the topics that structure CIPA | M, International Congress for Architectural and Landscape Heritage | Malagueira, (the relation between cultural heritage and community; and heritage management and public participation) and the following thematic areas:

Theme 1

Research by Design and its application to the studies of design processes and operations in 20th century architecture and urbanism, aiming at the identification of values of authenticity, integrity and uniqueness of the works and their authors, with special focus on the Architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.

Theme 2

Investigations into the identification, protection and safeguarding of cultural heritage, with a view to architectural and landscape heritage and the creation of collections and maps of interpretation and preservation of heritage.

Theme 3

Examples and experiences of cultural tourism brand creation, with special focus on the architectural, social, modern history and economic sustainability values.

Deadlines and Communication:

For reasons of financial planning and publication, all interested parties will have to express their willingness to publish the chapter by the 30th of September.

The deadline for sending articles is the 31st of October.

It is up to the Scientific Committee, with the help of the Project Scientific Team, to review the articles and send the authors the suggestions it deems appropriate.

The book is expected to be published in early December.

All communication will be made via email (cipa.malagueira@uevora.pt) addressed to the Research Commission of the Project MALAGUEIRA.PT.

Chapter Format:

All texts must be written in English. The abstract (200 words maximum) and keywords (between 4 and 6) should be sent in English and Portuguese.

The text should be written in English and have between2000 and 3000 words ( 6 to 8 pages), not counting the title, abstract, keywords, notes and bibliography.

Text must be presented in Gotham Light, size 11, justified, with line spacing of 1.15; in pages with 21cm x 21cm; with margins of 1.5cm superior, 3.0cm interior, 1.5cm inferior and 1.5cm exterior, in Microsoft Word (extension doc.) format.

Images, figures and tables (maximum of 10), which are included in the 6 to 8 pages, should have indication of copyright/source and its location in the text; can be in black and white or colours and should be sent in JPG format, with a minimum of 300dpi, máx 600dpi, in a total of 20Mb, in a compressed file, attached to the e-mail.

The bibliographic norm to be used should be the APA norm.

Observations:

The book chapters can be the result of the oral presentations at CIPA | M (International Congress for Architectural and Landscape Heritage | Malagueira) or for other conferences, provided that their themes are framed within the requested, and that have not yet been published.

The policy and requirements for publication must be respected. All submitted papers will follow a regular peer review process and the submissions will have to follow the book authors guidelines.
